Basketbal Bin at Decathlon

Decathlon asked us to design a bin that stimulates their customers to throw paper clots in the bin (and not on the floor) in the Decathlon stores. We have developed a basketball thrash bin. The basketball bin was successfully introduced in Decathlon Alexandrium and will be available in all Dutch Decathlon stores this year.

'As a sustainability leader for Decathlon Rotterdam, I wanted to involve the customer in making our stores more sustainable and let them think about the impact they can create as individuals. That is why I came up with the design of KarTent, in which the customer is encouraged to separate waste in a playful way. KarTent's idea of doing something good for the planet in this way is in line with our vision that we always try to pursue.'
